AI Software Engineer

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer who wants to go beyond prototypes and build AI systems that actually get used, in real products, with real data, at scale.

In this role, you will work closely with our data and engineering teams to design and implement AI-powered solutions. This is not a research-only position. We build, integrate and deliver production-grade systems for long-term clients.

You will play a key role in shaping how we apply generative AI in complex environments, from automating analyst workflows to building intelligent interfaces on top of large data systems.

• Design and build AI-powered workflows

Develop practical AI solutions that automate real business processes.

• Work on AI agents and orchestration

Build and iterate on agent-based systems that interact with data, tools and users.

• Integrate LLMs into existing systems

Connect AI capabilities with data pipelines, APIs and enterprise systems.

• Shape system architecture

Contribute to designing scalable, reliable AI-enabled architectures.

• Work with data

Prepare, structure and validate data to ensure meaningful AI outputs.

• Ship production-ready code

Build the surrounding systems needed to make AI solutions stable, testable and maintainable.

• Continuously improve solutions

Monitor performance, iterate on prompts/models, and optimize for real-world usage.

• Collaborate across teams

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, product owners and clients to identify where AI actually adds value.

• Bring ideas, not just execution

We expect you to challenge assumptions and suggest where AI can replace, simplify or rethink existing workflows.

The ideal candidate has the following:

• At least 1 year of experience in related fields
• Experience building applications using generative AI (LLMs, RAG, agents, etc.)
• Strong programming skills (Java preferred )
• Ability to move from idea → prototype → production
• Experience integrating external APIs and services
• Understanding of data workflows and data quality challenges
• Familiarity with tools like LangChain or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience working on data-intensive systems (ETL, pipelines, analytics platforms)
• Understanding of evaluation and testing of AI systems
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and containerization
• Awareness of AI limitations, risks and ethical considerations
