PressW is where some of the world's most ambitious companies come to actually ship AI.
We're redefining how businesses harness AI by building real systems for real clients, not just selling slides about what's possible. We're a team of three exited AI founders and a group of Applied AI Engineers based in Austin, and we've been heads-down for the last few years building this firm into something we're proud of: more than 70 production AI solutions shipped, 40+ clients across seven industries, and over $50M in measurable profit gains delivered. We work on the bleeding edge of what AI can do, guide our clients to the right solutions for their business, and ship the infrastructure they run on.
We sell across three divisions. Managed AI is our MSP, purpose-built for institutional investors: private equity firms, venture capital funds, asset managers, and capital markets clients. We map how a firm actually works, deploy custom agents into the workflows that consume deal teams' time (reading deal documents, drafting IC memos, scoring targets, triaging inbound, structuring offers, monitoring portfolio companies), and keep evolving those systems as models and firm needs change. AI Engineering embeds our teams directly with clients to build and harden production AI systems. AI Transformation handles roadmap and readiness work, helping leaders figure out what to build, in what order, and how to prepare for it.
About the Role:
The AI Delivery Engineer’s role is to work behind the scenes inside of the AI Operations team, building custom connectors, agent skills, and addressing customer requests. This person brings attention to detail, software engineering best practices, and agent skill hygiene expertise to every delivery item that they touch.
This role requires an understanding of how agent skills are developed and the engineering capability to create new MCP connectors in the Python language. It is a hands-on role that will work hand-in-hand with the AI Strategist team to deliver workflows that bring true ROI to our clients.
What we mean by AI fluency:
You use Claude daily and push it further than most people know is possible
You understand prompt engineering, context management, and how to structure complex multi-step tasks
You follow AI developments closely and can speak to what has changed in the last 90 days
You have built something with AI - an agent, a workflow, an integration - even if informally
You instinctively reach for AI when approaching a new problem
What You'll Do:
AI Skill & Agent Configuration
Configure and deploy custom Claude connectors, skills, and agents for our client workflows - working directly in the tools, not just directing others
Iterate on prompts, system instructions, and agent behaviors based on client feedback and real-world performance
Set up integrations between Claude and the tools our clients use: data rooms, CRMs, portfolio monitoring platforms, document management systems
Troubleshoot and refine AI tools post-deployment, maintaining a continuous improvement loop with clients
Value Creation
Track and report on AI implementation initiatives across MSP clients, maintaining visibility into adoption, utilization, and ROI
Identify opportunities to expand AI tooling across portfolio company functions beyond the deal team - finance, HR, operations, IR
Build the business case for platform-level AI investments deployable across multiple portfolio companies
Internal Practice Development
Contribute to PressW's playbooks for AI implementation in workflows, documenting what works and accelerating future engagements
Stay current with Claude releases, new capabilities, and the broader AI landscape - bring relevant developments proactively to clients and the team
Help shape PressW's go-to-market positioning with prospects through proposals, case studies, and thought leadership
Qualifications
Required
Exceptional AI fluency: you are a power user of Claude and other AI systems, you understand their capabilities and limits, and you stay current with developments as they happen
Direct experience building or configuring AI tools, agents, or automations - personal or side projects count
Technical curiosity and hands-on comfort: you are willing and able to configure software, set up integrations, and figure out new tools without needing a manual
Strong communication and requirements-gathering skills; you know how to ask questions that surface the real problem, not just the stated one
Preferred
Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM behavior, and context management techniques
Exposure to finance-adjacent software platforms: Salesforce, DealCloud, Allvue, Carta, Visible, or similar
Prior exposure to managed services, technology consulting, or implementation work
