Data Quality Analyst

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Data Quality Analyst. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, working on-site to deliver expertise and value to our client in the financial sector. You will be part of a team that manages and improves data quality controls within the client's Accounting & Reporting Solutions department, under the consultancy model of Keystone Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage finance systems functionalities, including projects, change requests, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with user requirements, timing, and budget.
• Contribute to group-level projects and evolutions related to finance tools, regulatory reporting, and management reporting.
• Define and ensure local needs are respected and implemented in finance systems.
• Secure qualitative and efficient finance systems functionalities.
• Participate in testing and ensure change management and training for users.
• Analyze, improve, and validate data quality controls for extra-accounting data sourced towards management accounting systems and delivered to group reporting tools.
• Analyze data quality controls implemented in the client's tools on ALM data.
• Understand data flows from operating systems to ALM tools via internal systems.
• Understand functional ALM data definitions and their usage in reporting.
• Utilize data analytics, data visualization, scripting, and automation techniques.
• Identify root causes of anomalies detected by controls.
• Define remediation action plans in the appropriate systems.
• Write business requirements for IT, considering reporting needs.
• Define a roadmap for the implementation and homologation of controls.
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute testing by analyzing delivered results versus expected results.
• Document solutions and related processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of dashboarding on KPI controls (in TABLEAU).
• Ensure proactive, regular, and clear communication with management, data managers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in and contribute to data quality communities, prepare and participate in quality assessment committee meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree, or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
• At least 6 years of experience in a similar function within a financial institution.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); fluent spoken French (documentation may be in French).
• Technical experience with IT systems (SQL, Access, Excel), stakeholder relations, and clear communication is mandatory.
• Experience with Business Objects, Cognos, and general accounting systems is a plus.
• Business experience with ALM data and processes, and as a Data Quality Analyst is mandatory; banking accounting knowledge is a plus.
