As a Senior AI Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions that support enterprise business initiatives. You will combine software engineering, cloud architecture, generative AI, and system integration expertise to deliver innovative AI applications while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI solutions, leveraging modern cloud technologies, generative AI, and software engineering best practices. You will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, software developers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI applications. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Python or .NET development, cloud-native architecture, enterprise integrations, and generative AI technologies. You should be a strong technical leader who enjoys mentoring engineers, solving complex technical challenges, and driving innovation while ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions from concept through production deployment

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering deliverables

• Design and develop secure, maintainable, and reusable Python and/or .NET applications, APIs, background services, and AI components

• Build and optimize generative AI applications using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent search, and AI agents

• Design and implement secure integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, document repositories, and cloud platforms

• Develop cloud-native AI solutions using AWS services including Amazon Bedrock, AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS/EKS, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and related services

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and security scanning

• Configure application observability using Datadog, including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts, and performance monitoring

• Embed secure software development practices throughout the software development lifecycle and remediate security findings using tools such as Wiz and Snyk

• Collaborate with architects, product managers, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet enterprise standards

• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, release management, production deployments, and operational readiness activities

• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Continuously improve AI solution performance, reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency

What You’ll Need

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Significant experience developing enterprise applications using Python and/or .NET

• Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade AI, machine learning, or cloud-native applications

• Hands-on experience building generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent search, or AI agent solutions

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, software architecture, application security, and CI/CD practices

• Experience with Docker, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or other container platforms

• Experience implementing observability using Datadog or similar enterprise monitoring platforms

• Experience using security tools such as Wiz, Snyk, or comparable cloud and application security platforms

• Experience with automated testing, source control, dependency management, and DevOps practices

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams

Preferred:

• Experience delivering AI solutions within financial services, government, or other highly regulated industries

• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, vector databases, enterprise search platforms, and AI evaluation frameworks

• Experience implementing responsible AI, AI governance, prompt engineering, model security, and AI guardrails

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering practices

• Experience with enterprise identity management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and role-based access control

• Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, AI, cybersecurity, software engineering, or cloud architecture
