Role Overview:
We are hiring an AI Research and Innovation Sr. Principal to focus on Gen AI model refinement, including fine-tuning, alignment, safety, and evaluation of AI models. This role is critical for ensuring our models are robust, responsible, and aligned with human values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts in supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and instruction tuning. Innovate on techniques for continual learning and domain adaptation.
• Understand LLM fine tuning techniques such as PEFT, LoRA, QLoRA etc
• Develop evaluation frameworks for model safety, bias, and performance.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders like policy and Responsible AI teams to ensure responsible AI practices, consulting team to provide technical depth in AI, studio team to position our findings for client pitches, business team to arrive at a research roadmap, academia and industry partners for pushing the research boundaries.
• Publish and present novel and innovative research findings in top AI venues.
• Develop an internal AI talent and foster a culture of continuous learning across practice and organization. Mentor a team of researchers and engineers.
• Support client engagements by providing consulting and solutioning for complex client problems by bringing in niche AI skills and utilizing advanced internal and external frameworks and accelerators.
Required Skills:
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Data Science/AI, Mathematics and Statistics from premium institutes – IITs, IISc, IIIT and ISI
• Overall experience 12-15 years and Relevant experience (post PhD) 5+ years.
• Experience with evaluation metrics and safety benchmarks.
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop systems and feedback collection.
• Multi Modal AI Model Building and Fine tuning
• Proven track record of innovation and publications.
