Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and prepare structured and unstructured financial data
- Assist in developing and evaluating machine learning models
- Support feature engineering and anomaly detection initiatives
- Create reports and dashboards using Power BI to communicate insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights
- Contribute to automation, reconciliation, and alerting tools
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience: 0–2 years’ experience in data analysis or data science, preferably within a financial or analytical environment
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, and reporting tools
- Ability to write basic SQL queries
- Understanding of data pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud environments (advantageous)
- Non-negotiables: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, ethical integrity, and the ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
